Medeco High Security Locks sponsored lunch each day. This is Dan Flom, Director of sales and marketing, giving a brief presentation on their security products.

Sencore's John Thomson discussed test equipment during their afternoon Bonus Session at TechFest 8.  Sencore makes a range of test equipment that is specifically tailored toward monitor repair.

Ken Miller and Bob Buesing, Field Applications Engineer for 3M Touchsystems, Inc., presented a look at touchscreen technology. Everyone attending their session received a valuable package of technical information and a CD-ROM with even more software and specifications.

Coin Mechanisms' Mike Harris discussed all of their past and current products, including their latest high-security coin validator, the Defender.

Steve Carriccio from WMS presented technical information on their legacy systems as well as their new Blue Bird system.

Money Controls' Armando Gomez provided a detailed look at the Condor coin validator and their Gamesman coin hopper from a repair perspective. He also demonstrated hopper denomination conversion. Both side-exit and escalator hoppers were presented.

Tommy Talbot of AstroSystems, Inc. discussed the new MicroCoin unit. He discussed the operation of the unit and calibration (none required) as well as programming.

TechFest 8 anchor presentation belonged to Jack Geller of JCM. As usual, this dynamic presentation discussed cleaning and calibration procedures for WBA bill validators as well as repair issues.
